In hopes to create a powerful,
streetable, attractive, well rounded, street monster with fantastic
drivability, this STi project was borne and we didn't hold back.
The power plant of the Upscale Automotive STi is comprised of a Cobb built block and Cobb built heads with Cosworth cams. The Perrin Header leads to a Perrin GT3076R .82 A/R Rotated Mount Turbo Kit. We spared no details with all the supporting parts needed and more. The engine is kept super cool with a PWR Radiator and a Zerosports Thermostat. The Perrin Front Mounted Intercooler pipes have been heat coated by Swain Technologies. The Cusco Engine and Transmission Mounts transfer the feel of the car right through to the Sparco seats and ultimately to the driver. This setup is fed by a 255lph Walbro pump and Power Enterprise 850cc Fuel Injectors mounted in Perrin Fuel Rails w/ Stainless Steel Lines. The APS Tumbler Valve Deletes and Cobb SF Intake (Legacy spec) allow more tunability via the Cobb AccessPort V2. The STi is kept in check with a fully-featured HKS CAMP along with a PLX Devices R-500 EGT, Wideband A/F, and Knock Sensor. To top all of this off, the TEIN Flex Coilovers are controlled from the driver's seat via a TEIN EDFC that can harden and soften the suspension's stiffness at will. When it is finally time to slam on the brakes, the OEM STi Brembo Brakes are supported by HAWK HP+ Pads and Power Slot Cryo Treated Rotors. The GT Spec Fender braces and APR Front Strut Bar help keep the body rigid, while the BFGoodrich G-Force T/A KDW's maintain a superb grip on the road. The Carbon Fiber APR GTC-300 Wing and Rear Diffuser are assisted by an aerodynamic Carbon Fiber Seibon Hood and Scoop, Carbon Fiber Seibon Front Lip with built in Canards, and Carbon Fiber Chargespeed Side Skirts and Rear Caps. The Carbon Fiber Seibon Fenders help ventilation while also providing an extra 20mm of width in the front. This STi is covered in parts and through the modification process has become the epitome of Performance, Reliability, and Style - what Upscale Automotive is all about.
