The NOPI Nationals and Super Street Tour this year were both lots of cars, cars, and more cars! We debuted the Upscale Automotive STi and we had a blast. The show was packed full of hot cars, incredible drifting, and perfect weather.
We caught the Super Street Tour in Charlotte, NC at Bert N Gert's Bar-B-Que. First of all, that was some good food and an awesome place to meet. We packed the parking lot and I think it was a really good stop. We met some cool people, took a breather, and got back on the road. Next thing we knew we were in a caravan with an Evo... so what better pairing than an STi and an Evo to cruise down to Atlanta? The tour was lots of fun, 5 o'clock Atlanta traffic wasn't. Traffic caused our leg to get to the speedway too late to make the lap around the track, but still... lots of fun.
The NOPI Nationals started and it never really stopped. The people, the cars, the entertainment, the exhibitors, the celebrities, everything contributed to a great time. There were plenty of top-notch cars there: S15 Silvia, a handful of Skylines, a couple of Lamborghini's, an Attack, plenty of nicely modified Z's, STi's, Evo's, Supra's, and more.
Sunday night it was time to truck it back home for the Upscale Automotive crew. A long drive full of blaring bass and music videos, interstate on-ramp launches, and other sorts of empty interstate mischief the whole way back.
