The Thermo Tech Thermo-Shield is used protect hoses or wires in your engine bay from 90% of radiant heat and up to 2000 degrees. It is not always practical to remove hoses and wires to install a Thermo-Sleeve, so the Thermo-Shield is the perfect alternate. It is adhesive backed tape for a simple install and professional finish. The Heavy Duty Thermo-Shield is two times thicker for those extra high heat areas.
