Seibon specializes in carbon fiber products. Dry and wet carbon fiber products involve completely different manufacturing processes. Dry carbon products provide superior strength and weight savings. Dry carbon weaves are more consistent and the overall quality is higher with dry carbon. Dry carbon products generally cost three to four times more than wet carbon products. Wet carbon products are hand-laid, and are more prone to small defects such as inconsistent weaves or tiny bubbles. Wet carbon products do not save as much weight as dry carbon products, but they do provide a glossy finish and a lower price than dry carbon products. Dry carbon is ideal for the serious street/track enthusiast, while wet carbon is ideal for street/show use.
