As the only permanent full cold air intake for the VAG 2.0T FSI applications, this kit comes complete with all the parts required to completely replace the OEM airbox/engine cover assembly with a combination of fully mandrel bent lightly polished aluminium piping and the highest quality silicone hoses.

The kit utilizes a washable and reusable non-oiled air filter that is positioned as far away from the heat of the engine as possible behind the driver's side (UK passenger side) fog light to draw in the coolest ambient air for maximum performance potential. "Open" style European spec fog light grilles (not included) are recommended for optimum airflow.

The kit has been dyno tested showing a gain of 3 bhp and 8 lb/ft of torque over the stock intake system on a mechanically stock but "stage 1" tuned GTI. Additional performance gains over the stock intake system may be achieved on more highly modified applications.

The bare piping is suitable to be refinished at the owner's discretion if desired for a custom look or to maintain the coolest intake air possible. Options include polishing, painting, powder coating, heat wrapping (sold separately), or anything else you can dream up.

This kit has been confirmed to fit all of the following applications with the 2.0T FSI engine:
- Mk5 Golf/Jetta/GTI
- 8P Audi A3
- B6 Passat (manual transmission only)
- Seat Leon
- Skoda Octavia
Fitment to the Eos, Audi TT or any other transverse mounted 2.0T FSI applications is still pending.

This kit is NOT suitable for the 2008 and newer models equipped with the new CCTA or CBFA 2.0 TSI/TFSI engine.

Please exercise caution to avoid water ingestion when in severe wet weather conditions or near deep standing water due to the low placement of the air filter when using this kit!
