Crafted from 3" 304 Stainless Steel, mandrel bent and TIG welded, this product insures smooth exhaust flow back to the catalyst. Making crisp boost and throttle response when needed. Just like all other downpipes PERRIN has made for the WRX, they use a split pipe mouth to divert the wastegate exhaust gases away from the exhaust coming from the turbine. Perrin's downpipe uses a 200 cell per inch metallic substrate catalytic converter. Perrin's converters are guaranteed to take the extreme heat produced by high horsepower motors and do so for miles and miles. The PERRIN Performance downpipe is the perfect compliment to your PERRIN exhaust system. Like Perrin's other exhausts, the 02-07 WRX/STI downpipe w/cat is built with 3" 304 Stainless Steel tubing, which passes through a special high flow metallic catalytic converter.
