This is the core part of the Turbo XS WRX & STi rotated turbo kit, it includes the uppipe, downpipe, turbo adapter, oil line, water fittings, hardware, and turbo gaskets. This is the basic exhaust pipes & hardware required to mount a Garrett turbocharger and Tial wastegate (both sold separately) on your WRX or STi. The downpipe requires the TurboXS catback adapter pipe, sold separately, in order to use an exhaust system or the TurboXS high flow cat or racepipe in order to use a TurboXS exhaust system.
Notes:
1. This is the BASE kit, designed for a 3" Garrett GT Turbocharger, Tial 44mm Wastegate, Turbo XS rotated intake, intercooler pipes, & turboback exhaust or catback adapter pipe. (All sold Separately)
2. This kit is designed to dump the wastegate gases to the atmosphere.
Keep in mind: 1. To build a complete, bolt-on turbo kit, you will need this Turbo XS Basic Uppipe & Downpipe kit, along with a Turbo XS turboback exhaust or catback adapter pipe, Turbo XS intercooler pipe kit, Turbo XS front-mount intercooler (FMIC), Turbo XS rotated mount intake, Tial 44mm Wastegate, and Garrett GT30R or GT35R turbocharger.
2. Like any turbo kit, engine management and tuning are required, as well as fuel system upgrades and engine internal upgrades to maximize potential.
3. Professional installation and tuning by a Subaru-specific shop is recommended.
