Back after a long absence is the GP Moto silencer delete elbow! This is a highly recommended part for WRX's and STi's alike. The factory air intake system has been proven to be as good as or better than many aftermarket upgrades out there and with this silencer delete and an upgraded panel air filter (sold separately) you can rest assured that you are getting high performance levels out of your intake system! This elbow along with a Perrin panel filter (sold separately) were used on our WRX with VF39 turbo and we couldn't have been happier with the results. No MAF issues and a great stock look all while upping performance for a price everyone can afford!

Turbo feels like it spools a little quicker now that the stock snorkel is removed. You can hear the turbo spool a little better and can hear the BPV a little better, too. BPV and Spool sound not as loud as I thought it would be but that is my only complaint.

Seriously... Great idea, poor quality manufacture. It wouldn't take much effort to mold the ends correctly so they connect with OEM pieces well. I've got gaffer tape around one end to ensure it seals properly. A tip: drill a small hole in the bottom of the elbow assist in draining any water that might enter, rather than let it all go to the airbox.
